Effective Communication.
He dresses neat, looks handsome, and always talk with a aura of pride, people always want to listen to him and he makes friends and "friends" quite easily.He is the perfect sales person.
Many a times we wonder why we are not making those sales,why our company is lagging, why we fail to get those contracts and we are the only ones at the bottom of our industrial table.
Most times (I did not say all the time oh), it is due to the way we communicate with the other person(corporate organization do have faces) We have to command the attention of the other person not in a superior complex but in a gentle manner. You give all your attention like you are making love and the outcome of that dialogue is your much anticipated baby.
We communicate with our dress, the way you talk, walk, gesticulate even with the eyes. You will have to learn to do it like James Bond. Then I tell you even the devil will listen when you tell him to shut up.
Communication is when you speak all the grammar in the world and the target audience respond either positively(desired) or negatively to whatever you say.There must always be feed back.What am saying is to get to the peak of our managerial or business potentials, We all have to master the act of communication.
Like The guy in the first paragraph,one must always be in the right frame of mind, know what you are talking about, know how to start and end a point, study the person you are talking and know the person's temperament, this is very important. It will let you know when to be slow and when to say things with authority.
No I did not say its easy to just get up and be the sweet talker, but a step taking today can be the first in the right direction and one that will change the course of our business or organization from the road to the coporate grave yard As one of my mentors do say.
